    Company or freelance: which one do I need?

    If you’ll have partners, hire a team or trade under a company name, a company fits. If it’s you working independently in a professional activity, a freelance license keeps things simpler. Your consultant confirms the right option in your written quote.

    Freelance license or freelance permit?

    Both are sole proprietor establishments issued in your own name. A license also lets you invoice clients, use a business bank account and sponsor your family, so for most people the license is the one to choose.

    Is approval guaranteed?

    No. Licences, permits and visas are issued only by the relevant UAE authorities, and the decision is theirs. We prepare, submit and follow up your application.

    Can I apply without Trivup?

    Yes. You can apply directly to the licensing and immigration authorities. Trivup is an optional paid service for people who’d rather have it handled.
