Activity & structure check
We check your activity against the current rules for foreign ownership and recommend a Saudi company or a branch — before anything is paid.
Most activities in Saudi Arabia are open to 100% foreign ownership. We check your activity, choose the structure with you, prepare the file and coordinate the registration with the Saudi authorities — from our office in Dubai.
A written quotation before you pay anything · Approval is decided by the Saudi authorities, never by us
Not affiliated with any Saudi authority · you can register directly with the Ministry of Investment (MISA) and the Ministry of Commerce
A foreign investor usually sets up in one of two ways: a Saudi company — a limited liability company (LLC) — or a branch of a company you already own abroad. Switch on what applies to you, or drag the line, and see which one fits.
In most activities, under the current rules
The investment first, then the company
Government charges shown apart from our fee
Approval is never guaranteed — by us or anyone else
Whether you are starting a new company or bringing yours to the Kingdom, we check the activity, recommend the structure, prepare the documents and follow the registration with the Saudi authorities.

The investment registration with MISA, the articles of association, the commercial registration and Chamber membership — prepared, filed and followed up.
Tax registration, the bank account and, if you employ, GOSI, Qiwa and residence permits — coordinated where your package includes them.
Start with the one that sounds closest to your plans. Your consultant confirms the activity, the structure, the inclusions and the full figure in writing before you go ahead.
For a company abroad that will deliver work in Saudi Arabia under its own name — the parent stands behind the branch.
Not with a branch: a separate Saudi company, liability that stops in Saudi Arabia, or shareholders other than the parent company.
For one or more shareholders — people or companies — owning up to 100% of a Saudi company, in most activities.
Which activities are open to foreign ownership, the capital they call for, government charges and Trivup’s fees depend on your activity and on the authorities. Your written quotation confirms the package before you pay. The bank account itself is approved by the bank, under its own policies.

Each stop says who is acting — you, Trivup or the authorities — so you always know where your company stands.
Tell us your activity, who will own the company and where you are. We check the activity is open to foreign ownership and point you to the structure.
Passports and, for company shareholders, their company documents — attested and legalised where required. We check every one before anything is filed.
The investment registration with MISA and the commercial registration with the Ministry of Commerce. Each authority decides, never Trivup.
Chamber membership, tax registration, the bank account and, if you employ, GOSI, Qiwa and residence permits — the steps your package includes.
The answer often depends on your activity, on who owns the company and on the current rules — your consultant confirms yours.
In most activities, yes. Some activities are closed to foreign investment or come with conditions, such as a sector licence or a minimum capital. We check yours against the current rules before anything else.
A Saudi company — usually a limited liability company (LLC) — is a new company in its own name. A branch is part of a company you already own abroad. The difference is what you get:
| What you get | Saudi company (LLC) | Branch |
|---|---|---|
| Licensed to operate in Saudi Arabia | Yes | Yes |
| Up to 100% foreign-owned, most activities | Yes | Yes |
| A Saudi company in its own name | Yes | No |
| Liability stops at the company | Yes | No |
| Shareholders can be people or companies | Yes | No |
| No company abroad needed | Yes | No |
Not for activities open to full foreign ownership. Where an activity calls for a Saudi partner or a licence from a sector regulator, we tell you before you commit.
The Ministry of Investment (MISA) registers the foreign investment; the Ministry of Commerce issues the commercial registration (CR), which is the company’s legal existence. Both come before the Chamber, tax, bank and staff steps.
No. Every registration and licence is decided by the Saudi authorities. Trivup is a private company in Dubai that provides consultancy, preparation and document support for a service fee. It is not affiliated with the Ministry of Investment, the Ministry of Commerce or any Saudi authority.
Yes. You can register through the Saudi authorities yourself — the Ministry of Investment and the Ministry of Commerce. Trivup is an optional private service.
Send us your activity and who will own the company. We explain the structure that fits and send a written quotation before anything is filed.
Trivup Documents Clearing Services LLC is a private company in Dubai, not a government website, and is not affiliated with the Saudi Ministry of Investment, the Ministry of Commerce or any Saudi authority. Approval is never guaranteed, and you can register directly with the Saudi authorities.
