What the membership includes

One membership, the parts that apply to you.

“Freelance visa” is shorthand for two things — the right to work and the right to stay. Your membership covers whichever of them your circumstances require, along with the activity check, the trade name and the support that runs alongside them. Each application is granted by the authority that issues it, never by us.

Included

Your freelance permit

Permit to work as a freelancer, activities you choose, and invoices in your own name. For a dependant, a Golden Visa holder or a GCC national this is the whole engagement — you hold the status already.

Included on eligible options

Your residence visa

Your right to live here. The permit is what lets you sponsor it yourself instead of an employer holding it. One or two years, renewable, and it does not end when a contract does.

And then

Your Emirates ID

What makes the residency usable day to day — a bank account, a tenancy, a driving licence, sponsoring your family. Issued after the medical and biometrics.

Which one depends on where you already stand.

One fact settles most of it: whether you already hold UAE residency. If you do — as a dependant, a Golden Visa holder or a GCC national — you need the permit alone. If you do not, the permit and the residence visa are filed together as one engagement.

For members whose residence is arranged through our partner recruitment agency, which is licensed by MOHRE and acts as the employer and sponsor.

How membership onboarding works

Four stages. You are needed in two.

What status you hold today, and what you invoice for. This decides how much of the process applies to you at all.

02Your documents
Onboarding

Activities agreed against your real invoices and your trade name reserved. The application that follows goes to the free-zone authority, which decides it on its own requirements and its own timetable.

03Status change, or entry permit

Already here, your status changes in country with no exit run. Arriving from abroad, you travel in on the entry permit instead.

04Medical & biometrics
Emirates ID issued

The residence visa is stamped and the Emirates ID issued. From that point a bank will open an account for you.

Why the visa, not just the permit

Residency that doesn’t end when the job does.

A permit lets you invoice. The visa is what lets you stay — and it is held in your own name rather than a company’s, which changes what happens the day a contract finishes.

What does the membership include?

A freelance permit issued by a free-zone authority in your own name, and — on the eligible options — a residence visa sponsored by that permit rather than by an employer, with the medical, biometrics and Emirates ID that complete it. Alongside them: your activity checked before you pay, your trade name, and a named adviser for the whole term.
