Two routes to residency. One for people who already have it.
The two residency routes below reach the same place — a UAE residence visa and an Emirates ID — by different arrangements, and the difference matters more than the price does. One puts the permit and the visa in your name. The other has a MOHRE-licensed agency employ and sponsor you. The third route is the freelance permit on its own, for people who already hold residency. What each one includes is on its card, and confirmed in your written quotation before anything is filed.

Route 01 · Already resident
Freelance Permit
For anyone who already holds UAE residency — on a family visa, say, or a Golden Visa. You have the status; what is missing is the permit that lets you trade in your own name.
Not included: a residence visa, medical or Emirates ID
One-year freelance permit, in your own name
Up to 10 activities, agreed against your invoices
Trade name reservation
Registered address & P.O. Box

Every route is quoted individually in writing after a free consultation, and nothing is payable — and nothing is filed — until the written quote is agreed. Family members are quoted with your application. Approval is decided by the authorities and is not guaranteed.

Let’s find your payment option.Speak to your Trivup consultant.
Trivup Documents Clearing Services is a private Dubai documents-clearing company (trade licence 1242868). We are not a government department, and we are not affiliated with, authorised by, or endorsed by any UAE government authority.
Permits, licences and residency visas are issued solely by the relevant UAE authorities, which decide every application on its own merits. We advise on and prepare applications; approval is not guaranteed.
You may apply directly to the relevant authority yourself — GDRFA Dubai, ICP or MOHRE — without paying our fee.
On the employment-based route, your employer and visa sponsor is a recruitment agency licensed by the UAE Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation, not Trivup; we work as its partner. Your residency is tied to that employment continuing.

Before you commit
What people ask about the price.
01What does the price include?
Everything listed on the route’s card. Before anything is filed you receive a written quotation that confirms the route, its inclusions and the figure for your case, and nothing is payable until you agree it.
02Do family members cost extra?
Yes. On either residency route your family can be sponsored once your own residency is issued, and each person is quoted with your application.
03What happens if my application is rejected?
Approval is never guaranteed — the authorities decide every application. If the initial approval is rejected, AED 1,000 is kept as an application and documentation fee and the rest is refunded under the terms you accept.
04What do I pay in year two?
The freelance permit renews every year, and you receive a renewal quotation before anything is charged. On the Freelance Permit & Residency route the residence visa renews at the end of its term; on the Employment-Based Residency route it renews every two years.
05When do I pay?
Nothing is payable, and nothing is filed, until the written quote is agreed. The quote sets out what is paid, and when.
06Can I apply directly myself?
Yes. The authorities accept applications directly — GDRFA Dubai and ICP for residency, MOHRE for work permits, and the free zone for a freelance permit — and you pay no agency fee that way. Our price is for doing it with you, end to end.
Not sure which?
Two questions, and it usually settles itself.
First: do you already hold UAE residency? Then, do you want to invoice clients in your own name?
1Already resident — on a family visa or a Golden Visa, say: Freelance Permit on its own is normally all you need.
2Not resident, and you want to invoice in your own name: Freelance Permit & Residency, the route that puts the permit and the visa in your name.
3Not resident, and residency is what you are after: Employment-Based Residency through the licensed agency.
